It was a tough, technical speed track demanding a lot of experience. Lusti, inexperienced in super-G, had an amazing, smartly executed run to be the third Canadian on the day. The weather was much improved over Sunday's gusts but the light was quite flat. Head coach Nancy Jo O'Neill, practically screaming into her cell phone with glee was ecstatic to say the very least with Christina's performance. Lustenberger is reported to be absolutely beaming!

The final event in the Nor-Am speed series in Aspen runs Tuesday with the second women's super-G. Lusti should be in good stead for a top-15 starting position as a result of today's tremendous result.
