A rookie no more, North Vancouver's Manuel Osborne Paradis is blazing a trail for the BC Ski Team as the Nor-Am Tour stops in Lake Louise, Alberta. Alternating between downhill and super-g, Osborne Paradis posted three strong results in as many days. In Sunday's Downhill, starting 54th, Manny had an impressive result rounding out the top-10 in tenth in 1:39.51. Monday's DH was equally impressive as Manny posted another 10th place finish in 1:38.15 followed by a13th place finish in the men's super-g in a time of 1:37.36 on the Men's Olympic Downhill Course Tuesday. Well done, Manny!

Alberta would like to give a Gold Medal to all the BC athletes who helped with teardown at the Lake Louise Speed event. It was a big job and BC athletes and coaches stuck it out to the end; including National Development Team, BC Team, and BC club athletes. Thanks for your help. After a long 10 days on the hill the volunteers really appreciated it.
