Georgina Pike of Comox wins BC Alpine 2011 GMC Terrain Raffle grand prize

I had the pleasure of calling Georgina Pike moments after our neighbor Eric Macdonald was kind enough to pull her name from our raffle box. Not being a member of a BC Alpine club (or even a skier at all for that matter) Georgina barely remembered purchasing a ticket for the raffle which is an additional reason why I caught her off guard. “We live in a lovely area and we have several wonderful children on our street and we support them as much as we can, hence buying the ticket. It was many months ago I purchased it I think.. I’m so surprised!”

BC Alpine’s entire staff would like to extend congratulations to Georgina and thank her and everyone else who supported the raffle and ski racing opportunities in the province of British Columbia.
