FIS registration for the 2004-05 Season is about ready to start

Please make certain to carefully read the BC Alpine Overview of FIS Registration 2004-05 document as it contains all information you should need to determine how to properly register for the upcoming season. A paper copy of these forms will be sent out to all clubs (with FIS athletes last year) from the BC Alpine office on June 1.

Dates to Note:
June 15th: Online Registration changes from 0304 Season to 0405 Season. Online registrations for 0405 Season can start being entered.
July 20th: FIS Registration Deadline for 0405 Season. All required forms must be in the BC Alpine Office, with all criteria met including online registration of the athletes.

If you have gone looking for national points, you most likely know that the contract between Stat-Timing and Alpine Canada Alpin has ended, and the national points are no longer available at their regular home. Until a new permanent home can be found, BC Alpine has created an online list query that can be accessed via this link: http://www.bcalpine.com/FISLISTS/natlist.asp

Ski Canada Magazine Opt-Out Policy

For the last five (5) years, BC Alpine has been providing a free subscription to Ski Canada Magazine to each household registered with our association. In accordance with the new PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act) brought in by the BC Government this year, we are giving our members the option of opting out of the free subscription.

If you are a member of a BC Alpine ski club, and would not like to receive your free subscription, please contact your ski club and have them remove you from the list.

Ski Canada keeps you posted on the latest must-know ski news and information.

The staff at BC Alpine would like to thank all of our visitors for making our site so popular again this year! Last month we averaged 865 unique visitors per day, with peak days having over 1200. We have added a few new functions to the site in the last few weeks, including the new “Website Information” option under the “BC Alpine” menu.
We enjoy being your online home to Alpine Ski Racing in BC, and will be working hard over the summer to create some great new features for next year!
