I have listened to a lot of feedback from the clubs regarding club contact information found on the BC Alpine Ski Association website. After running through a beta test with two of the clubs, a new release of the contacts area has been created, which will allow clubs to add/delete/modify information for their club as and when they see fit. Clubs will be sent information as to how to log in and modify their info early September. Any clubs wanting more information, or having and comments, can contact me at results@bcalpine.com.

The UBC's Alpine Ski Team will have a new top Bird strapping on skis for the blue and gold this coming winter. Former Canadian National Ski Team member Trevor Bruce was recently accepted to UBC and is excited to join the T-Birds for the up-coming season.
Originally from North Vancouver, Bruce chose UBC over many American NCAA schools. According to the 21 year old, “I knew that UBC had the most competitive university ski program in Canada, and academically none of the schools in the states seemed to fit my goals”. Bruce is entering the UBC Engineering Program this September.
The announcement is a big boost to the UBC Men's Ski Program which finished 10th at the US Collegiate Ski Championships last March. Men's Team Manager Paul Boskovich sees Trevor as having the experience to lead the Men's Team to the podium at the USCSA Nationals. According to Boskovich, the Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club alumni, “will raise the competitive bar for the student athletes already part of the program.”
Trevor Bruce has been one of Canada's top junior racers for the past several years and finished 7th at the Canadian Championships Giant Slalom in Whistler last year. Bruce joins the UBC's Ski Team along with former Whistler Mountain Ski Club racers Blake Jamieson and Ashleigh Mclvor.
