Podium finish for Janyk
Whistler's Britt Janyk climbed the podium in Thursday's Europa Cup giant slalom at St. Sebastian, Austria.
The 21-year-old Janyk, who just missed the podium by 0.03 seconds two days earlier, finished third for her first podium of the season, clocking a two-run combined time of 2:06.40.
Janyk Fifth in Swiss GS
Whistler, BC's Britt Janyk missed the podium by just 0.03 seconds in Tuesday's Europa Cup giant slalom at Arosa, Switzerland.
The 21-year-old Janyk instead claimed a very respectable fifth place in a race full of international talent. She clocked a two-run combined time of 2:46.70 while Swiss skier Fraenzi Aufdenblatten earned the win in 2:45.20.

Red Mountain K1 Race Moved to Salmo
The K1 Merrill Lynch Kootenay-Okanagan inter-zone race originally scheduled for February 2-3 at Red Mountain has been moved to Salmo. Please note that the dates remain the same, only the location has been changed.
