The Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team is currently looking for 2 guides for current Para Alpine Ski Team athletes Chris Williamson and Viviane Forest. Someone with FIS racing experience is mandatory, and he/she must still be confident racing all disciplines. A guide acts as eyes for the athlete, so the communication and team commitment between the athlete and guide are crucial to success.
As a full member of the National Ski Team, you will get to race and train in venues in Europe, Asia and the southern hemisphere. Travel expenses are covered and the athlete would also be eligible to receive monthly funding under the Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program. We are looking for someone who will be able to commit to the entire World Cup season, with the first training camp starting in the late summer, and races running through to the end of March.
If this team experience is of interest to you or anyone you know, please contact CPAST Athletic Director Brianne Law at blaw@canski.org
