Volunteers needed for early season FIS races in Lake Louise and Panorama

This upcoming season Alpine Canada Alpin is looking forward to hosting two local NorAm series – Lake Louise Speed December 7-11 and a Panorama NorAm Series December 12 to 18.

The Lake Louise speed event begins the evening of December 6 (safety meeting that night) through to the 11th, with teardown on December 11th. This speed event will include two Downhill training runs, two Downhill races and one Super-G, all both genders.  We can offer accommodation, breakfast and lunch and lift tickets for those who are able to volunteer for multiple days. There will also be a volunteer party, date TBA.  If you are able to help out for all or part of the races, we would love to hear from you!

Thanks in advance for your support – we couldn`t do it without you.

For the Lake Louise NorAm please contact Lisa Thomson Volunteer Coordinator at lisa.thomson@uniserve.com

For other races, please register on the ACA website http://www.alpinecanada.org/sign-up.

Prices are now up and available at http://bcalpine.com/content/bcalpine/ProgramFees/?Current

FIS Registration Process

The 2015-16 season registration package can be DOWNLOADED HERE. Please note the following important registration changes this season:

  1. Athletes now must complete a new CCES Athlete Information and Declaration form.  This also requires athletes to follow some online curriculum which is linked to on the form.
  2. Canadian Card FIS athletes (with SAIP level 3 insurance) are no longer allowed any event or training days outside of Canada.
  3. The deadline before prices go up has not yet been set for this season.  Due to Canada West Ski Areas Association All Area Pass deadlines however, we suggest all athletes be registered by August 14th.  Athletes registered after that date will not qualify for an All Area Pass.
